Title: New Moderator
Post by: Craig on July 25, 2007, 12:15:17 PM
Everyone, as you may have noticed the board is getting busier, as well as the moderators.

For that reason we needed to get a new set of eyes to help out.  Please welcome Josh, he has agreed to help out.

He is a young'un, but us old farts thought he would help bring a new view and balance here.

I'm glad to have Josh join the moderators.
I've met him at the Biblestudies at Ray's house, he's really a great guy.

Mercy, peace, and love
Kat

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

This forum has provided a safe haven for me over the last year or so, and I look forward to hanging out and learning with you all more in the future.

May God grant us eyes to see and ears to hear.

God's Peace.

You go brother!  You are so young, but so wise; God has blessed you and prepared you for such a day as this.  Thank you for your time and love for the truth and may HE give you all of the courage and candor that you will need; you have your work cut out for you; but I couldn't think of a better job in the world!  (This should prepare you for that time when we will (Hopefully) be judging the world along side with Yeshua!  I'm so  :Dvery proud of you little brother!

Young? Definitely. Wise? Of that I'm not so sure. =)

But thanks for the vote of confidence.

Congratulation, Josh!

You are very brave, kind and loving of your brothers and sisters to volunteer to be a moderator.

May our Lord give you a spirit of wisdom, and may you keep that smile! ;D

Gena,

It's a term I learned in an ethics course a few years back... "in the middle of things" for me describes the path that God has us all on.

Hebrews 12:11
For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

God's Peace.

Z thanks for the link.  I loved it.  I taught Eng. Lit in 7th grade but never came across it...(maybe I did, I am a better teacher than I was a student :-[ :D)

"Lost" will help me remember it.

J good scripture.--  we get the peaceful fruit AFTER we have the discipline.

oi josh,
it is a blessing to know that God is indeed working with young people like you (and a few others on the forum).  i know that since He has called you to this task, He will give you spiritual wisdom to help us all.  even His timely introduction of you as in medias res, in the middle of things, is an exhortation to me personally, and to all of us collectively.

follow His lead,
claudia
