A father wanted to read a magazine, but was being pestered by his daughter. To keep her busy, he tore a sheet out of the magazine that had a picture of the world printed on it. He tore the picture into small pieces and said "Here, now go into the other room and see if you can put this picture of the world back together again."
A few minutes goes by and he daughter appears in the room and hands him the picture all correctly fitted together.
The father was surprised and ask her how she was able to fit all those little pieces of the world back together again so quickly.
"Oh.." she said, "On the other side of the paper was a picture of Jesus and once I got Jesus in the right place, then the world came out alright."

Dawn,
I like your statement at the bottom...
"and in Your hands, the pain and hurt look less like scars, and more like character..."
That is a wonderful way to look at what we go through here in our physical lives. :)
I have not yet learned how to put something in that spot at the bottom of our post...can you tell me??

Good Morning Sue Ann!
Thank you for the comment although I can't take credit for those words. They are part of a song by Sara Groves who I absolutely love!
As far as how to add something, its called a "signature" and its there where you update your profile. Just look for the word signature. Sorry I can't give more instructions (I'm so new at this) but if you still have problems, let me know and I'll get you more instructions.
Have a blessed day!

Hi Dawn,
I'm always interested in new music. If you don't mind me asking, who is Sara Groves and why do you love her?
Love,

Hi again Ursula,
I just love the lyrics to her music. She writes songs that speak to, I guess, the everyday person and the struggles we go through. She wrote one song (Painting Pictures of Egypt) about leaving behind our old life yet how we still feel its pull.
I’ve been painting pictures of Egypt
Leaving out what it lacked
The future seems so hard
And I want to go back
But the places that used to fit me
Cannot hold the things I've learned
And those roads closed off to me
While my back was turned
Another song called Going Home (one of my favs) has this one part -
I’m confined by my senses
To really know what you are like
You are more than I can fathom
And more than I can guess
And more than I can see with human sight
But I have felt you with my spirit
I have felt you fill this room
And this is just an invitation
Just a sample of the whole
And I cannot wait to be going home
Anyway, I guess that's why I enjoy her music so much. It would be what I would write and sing if I could :)

Thanks Dawn,
I'll see if she is on You Tube. Thanks for the lead.
