I'm glad to be here, and...
Thanks be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
That we may be filled full
with the realization
of God's will.
in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding,
that we all may
walk worthy of the Lord
to please Him in all things,
that we all may
bear fruit in every good work,
that we all may
grow in the realization of God,
that we all may
be endued with power,
in accord with
the might of His glory,
namely with power
for all endurance, and
with power
for patience
with joy.
Thank you Father
[Colossians 1, Verses 3, 9-11, 12 CV]

Hi Donald. Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to the BT forum Donald
May you find fellowship here as we all walk on toward maturity.
There is much more God will reveal to each of us as we study and grow in love and humility.
So many of us have lost that graciousness that we are suppose to posess. It is time for us to have it.
1Pe 1:22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Look forward to your posts there is so much to read on this site as well as on Ray's main webpage. We all need to study the word and not come here for predigested meat.
Beloved

Welcome Donald. James (from Festus, Missouri :D...

Welcome Donald,
Thankyou for sharing that passage from Colossians. I noticed that you quoted it from the Concordant Version, which reminded me that I still need to purchase one or Youngs Literal Translation or Rotherhams. It can be read on-line, but I want my own personal copy, to take to work and study. Getting tired of seeing the word Everlasting, Eternal and Forever in the Bible Versions I currently possess.
Also, to add to that Passage in Colossians, I like this one: Phillipians. 4:4-9, Well most of us are probably familiar with this passage, so anyone can look it up.
Glad you have joined us and looking forward to your upbuilding comments in the coming days, if its Gods Will for you.
In Gods Love, Samson.

Welcome to the forum Donald!!!!!! :) Looking forward to reading what you have to say.
Thanks for the welcome and your invitation for me to write something 'Stevernator'. :)
This confess I for your reading, and not of my doing, it is the doing and "gracious gift of God being life eonian, in Christ Jesus, our Lord":
"Glory to God and Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Who died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was entombed, and that He has been roused the third day according to the scriptures. Whoever being baptized into Christ Jesus, are baptized into His death,...were entombed together with Him through baptism into death, that, even as Christ was roused out from among the dead through the glory of the Father, thus we also should be walking in newness of life."
Again, thanks for the encouragement to say something.

Thats a great scripture. I have been thinking lately about how much of our journey is being baptized in His death which allows us to walk in the newness of life. And we must trust God for this because
For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. (phi 2:13)
This is important because sometimes I rely too much on my own understanding instead of fully trusting in God.
