Hi Everybody,

Rene reminded me to introduce myself to everyone.....so here I am ;D

My name is Dorothy Marie and I am new to the group but not new to the site. Earlier this year I came across the website while searching for information on tithing. It's not that I minded giving 10% of my income, but I became sure we were teaching it all wrong.

Then, lo and behold, I came across Bible Truths.......talk about the "truth making you free"....WOW!!! I felt like I was in the "Matrix" and had just taken the "red pill"...ha-ha!! :o In all my years of church attendance I had never heard such simple, scholarly and accurate teaching.....and tithing was just the tip of iceberg!!

Ray's teaching confirmed a few of the things that I knew in my heart were incorrect, but I just couldn't articulate them......then BLAM - I find Bible Truths. It's funny how when you are open to the possibility that what you've believed is wrong, then God in His timing will reveal to you more truth.

It is strange to reflect back on the unanswered question and the things we noticed were not right, but accepted it because the church had to be right. But God was guiding us all along and at the appointed time lead us to BT and like you said WOW!! Now finally things are coming together like pieces of a puzzle.
I hope you will enjoy the fellowship we have here, it is truly a blessing for like minded people.

You know we all sort of have a similar story how we got here! I know I was searching for something I don't even remember what! Lots of folks here remember exactly what they were looking for when they found Bible Truths, I guess I was just looking! :D
I know that God moves us into certain things when we are ready to accept them.

I can relate , as I was reading ray's writings the movie matrix come to mind,
