I looked to see if he posted or not so I hope I don't steal his thunder, but SOMEONE on the forum has a new baby!! Ok Rockrdude! That's all I'm gonna say! I'll let you give all the details! Sorry if you posted and I didn't see it!

Oh yes! I have contacts!! Ha! the rockrdude and I are good friends on facebook! I told him I would leave the details of the baby up to him but.... (she's really cute and her name is..Willow!! heeheehee!) I LOVE that name!! shh, don't tell him I revealed that! ;D ;D

We just got home from the hospital moments ago.
Our beautiful baby girl, Willow Rebekah Henschel, was born on Sunday (April 19th) at 1:03 a.m.
She weighed approximately 8 pounds, 1 ounce (the scale was off, so the
exact weight is in question), and was 20 inches long. She was born in
Webster City, Iowa at Hamilton Hospital.
This is my 8th child, and the 6th one for my wife Lisa and I.. and I
could not be more pleased. God has blessed us abundantly!
Lisa did have some very serious complications after the birth but is
recovering splendidly. Thankfully she was in expert hands and there was never any fear about her condition throughout the whole ordeal.
Our midwife, Jayme, was amazing, and she helped make this an
incredible experience for us all. She is now considered to be part of
the family, as is our Minnesota midwife, Rebekah, who delivered
our son Joshua on 7/7/07. I have never in my life seen such talented
and dedicated individuals who both went out of their way to make a
special time in our lives even more special. I hope and pray that God
blesses each of them in many wonderful ways, and both my wife and I
thank God for placing each of them in our lives.
I also thank God for all of you. I am still new to these forums, and I have not been able to post too often recently. But I do pop in and read when I can, and I'll try to jump in a bit more often.. especially once we get things settled down around here. So, I guess I'll be posting in about 18 years or so! LOL! :D

I wish I could have had more children. I wanted a big family but I did not have the ideal temperment for it.

Congratulations Rockerdude! What, a blessing from God. Was never able to have children. But, I have been blessed to help raise neices and now a great nephew. He is a blast. Just, turned 4.
Again, so happy the Baby and Wife are doing good.

How I love babies and the name Willow is precious!!! Eight now, huh? WOW!!!! Glad your wife is doing o.k., get as much rest as possible. I will be thinking of all of you. Thank God babies like to sleep a lot or no one would ever have the second child. Love to all of you. Judy

Sweet news. I know she'll be a blessing to you and be one of the causes our Lord uses to be mutually molded into the image of His Son...she for you and you for her.

Thanks for all of the well wishes and encouragement, everyone! It's been a wild week at home with a new baby and the resulting chaos that comes when adding someone new to a family. Today is the first relatively calm day this week, and the greater peace today has been much needed! :)
