Dear Phillip:

I don't see the "judgment seat" or bema as a literal court setting, seeing

that we are NOW being judged (I Pet. 4:17).  And we are to judge

OURSELVES (I Cor. 11:32-34).  If we are in the first resurrection,

then that is proof that we will be in Christ's Kingdom, or we would

not have been resurrected in the first place, so if there were an actual

judgment to take place, I think that it would go pretty well, or we would

be there!  I have thought about those verses (there are about 4 of them),

but I have never been asked about them before.

God be with you,

PS   Those not in the first resurrection, will however, come up to judgment

that will not go quite so smoothly.
