Ray has taught me a lot and I love the way that he teaches. However,  I have a question. Ray states that you will not find the phrase "the antichrist."
1 John 2:18 says,"Little children, it is the last hour, and, according as you hear that the antichrist is coming~" (CLNT)
What say ye?

Well said Porter..

I have prayed for you Wendy. I had to go to the ER once because of a panic attack.
It was pretty bad , but God saw me through and He will see us all through this
testing / much tribulation that we must endure to enter the Kingdom of God.

It’s all of God. (2 Cor. 5:18)

From the Rapture paper.
and when did Peter teach that we would receive rest and glory for enduring
our testing?

that the testing of you faith, much more precious than gold which is perishing,
yet being tested by fire, may be found for applause and glory and honor at
the unveiling of Jesus Christ. (1Peter 1:7)

Hold on Wendy, these trials are necessary.

James 1:3…. for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.

It’s very difficult this testing, and to parrot Ray “( it’s no fun, but boy when you know
what it’s doing”)

Romans 8:31….If God be for us( and He is) who can be against us?

Keep the unity of the Spirit.

Quote from Ray” there are many scriptures of comfort and assurance that God is able and willing to see us succeed once He has begun a work in you/ us”.

Eph.2:8-9, Rom.8:38 and many many more . Hold on Wendy,we love you.

Our  Lord is awesome , praise His holy name,  Come Lord Jesus.💕

Wendy, I'm no stranger to severe anxiety also. Just last night while in bed trying to go to sleep I was feeling it. I was feeling spiritually weak prior to this, as my thoughts tend to wander all over the place when I'm tired. So I begged God to have mercy, and that is when the anxiety hit me like a truck. I told God I was scared, then realized how tense my body was. So I tried to breathe and relax my body. I must have quickly fallen asleep after that because I don't remember anything else.

As weird as it sounds, I now wonder if this is how God had mercy on me. God could have simply let me fall asleep without causing me to have anxiety and that would have been even more merciful, right? Like, why can't I have my cake and eat it too? But this is not why we were called.

We know God is working all for good, and we were called to endure His work with all faith and endurance. Thank God He has brought us together to comfort one another with His Word, just as we have all these years.

I wasn't sure if I should write as I did, so I hope I wasn't being presumptuous, Wendy. If you think you need medical attention, don't be afraid or ashamed to get it.

1Th 3:12  And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow with love for one another and for everyone, just as we also do for you.
1Th 3:13  May He make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. Amen.

Always praying for you and everyone.

Hi Wendy.

I empathize and sympathize with you.  I know it is easier said than done but just take it one day at a time and don't stop breathing.

Keeping you in prayer.

Hugs,

René

Hi everyone

I pray you are all well. Please say a prayer for me. I haven’t been feeling very well lately. I feel so overwhelmed. It just seems like I don’t know which way to turn. I feel like I’m back in the corner. My anxiety levels have been so bad. I almost went to the ER today.

Thanks, everyone God bless
Wendy

Hi Rose, there are a lot of things I don't get either. It seems we will only ever know in part until we are fully known. Thus, I understand Tartarus with respect to the fallen angels only in part.  Perhaps someone can put the parts together for us.

Forget the added theology from these definitions, we know they are not true. I've bolded the parts that I think are the most relevant spiritually.

Tartarus, according to Strong's is:

(the deepest abyss of Hades); to incarcerate in eternal torment: - cast down to hell.

Thayer Definition:

1) the name of the subterranean region, doleful and dark, regarded by the ancient Greeks as the abode of the wicked dead, where they suffer punishment for their evil deeds; it answers to Gehenna of the Jews

2) to thrust down to Tartarus, to hold captive in Tartarus
Part of Speech: verb

A Related Word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: from Tartaros (the deepest abyss of Hell)

We learned from Ray's papers that Sheol and Hades are the realm of the dead, the unseen, the imperceptible, where the dead know nothing where the thoughts of the dead perish. Below is just one example of where Ray taught this.

https://bible-truths.com/hagee1.htm

No, there is no consciousness in Hell, and there is no consciousness in hades which is translated into the English word "hell." Ecc. 9:10 says, " ... in the grave." "Grave" in this verse is translated from the Hebrew word sheol (which means the unseen or imperceptible). When an Old Testament Scripture is quoted in the New Testament, they translate sheol into hades. So is there "consciousness" in the place sheol in the O.T.? Absolutely not. " ... there is NO WORK, nor DEVICE, nor KNOWLEDGE, nor WISDOM, in the grave [the Hebrew translated "grave" in this verse is sheol, which is synonymous with the Gk. hades] where you go" (Ecc. 9:10). According to God's Word, not your word, Mr. Hagee, when a person dies and returns to his earth, does he still have conscious thoughts? GOD'S answer: "His spirit goes forth, he returns to his earth, in that very day his thoughts PERISH" (Psalm 146: 3-4).
=================================================================================

We have also learned from Ray that angels can be mere humans.

https://bible-truths.com/23-minutes-in-hell.html

MESSENGERS: Only once in Scripture do we read of "a messenger of Satan" (II Cor. 12:7). Messenger is here translated from Dr. Strong's #32 'angelos' which means: "a messenger, especially an angel, a pastor." Some Versions translate II Cor. 12:7 as "an angel of Satan" (Moffatt Translation); "an angel of Satan" (Emphatic Diaglott); "one of Satan's angels" (Phillip's Modern English New Testament). The Greek word 'angelos' has three meanings: "angel, messenger, and pastor." "Demon" is NOT a definition of angelos!

Of the hundreds and hundreds of different translations of the Scriptures, I know of none that translated the word "angelos" as "demon." And so we have conclusive proof from the Scriptures "the Devil's angels" are mortal men. The false prophet of Acts 13:6; the Pharisees whom Jesus called "children of the Wicked one" in Matt. 13:38; those Pharisees whom Jesus said had the Devil for their father in John 8:44; Satan's "ministers of righteousness" in II Cor. 11:14-15); are all human, mortal men, not spirits--despicable, disgusting, dirty, demons!
==========================================================

Put these parts together and the bigger picture becomes a bit more clear. The human angels/messengers (in any and every generation they were alive) are thrown into and being kept in the deepest darkest pit of Hades (Tartarus) where they know nothing, including and especially knowledge of God. They are as spiritually dead as a door nail.

2Pe 2:4 For if God spares not sinning messengers, but thrusting them into the gloomy caverns of Tartarus, gives them up to be kept for chastening judging;"

This sounds like something Jude said:

Jud 1:6 Besides, messengers who keep not their own sovereignty, but leave their own habitation, He has kept in imperceptible bonds under gloom for the judging of the great day."

What I don't get is why are these human messengers seemingly more in the dark than those whom they serve? Is it because they are the false teachers, preachers, pastors, and priests of the Church? Isn't it true that if the blind lead the blind, they both fall into the ditch? What are these various “levels” of Hades?

As for Gehenna, it was the city dump outside of Jerusalem where they burned trash, dead animals and the dead bodies of criminals; those whom they deemed scum of the earth. Spiritually, it is where Jesus destroys the ignorance of God in humanity.

Thanks everybody, it means a lot. It seems, even when we know we are appointed to tribulation, it is still very challenging.

Just go to show there are some things I still don’t ‘get’ .  I thought Tartarus was the place for the fallen angels , not Gehenna ?
