Hi Ray; I love your site but I have one question about a reading I have. When Paul wrote to a church he told them to not marry and stop working because God was coming back BUT in the next letter he wrote saying there were a lot of forgeries out in his name and the reading totally contradicts the first one...what is the real truth here? Was the first a forgery or the second? I believe it was Chorinthians.
Kae
Dear Kae: No, Paul never told a church "NOT to marry" or "NOT to work." Teaching "not to marry" is a doctrine of demons: I Tim. 4:1-3. And a man who doesn't provide for his family by working is worse than an infidel: I Tim. 5:8.
God be with you,
Ray
