These Scriptural passages have stayed with me, since He dragged me to Himself:
Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
KJV reproduced by permission of Cambridge University Press, the Crown’s patentee in the UK.
Matthew 10:8
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
John 8:32
and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:33
They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
John 8:36
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Romans 6:18
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 6:20
For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
Romans 6:22
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 8:2
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
1 Corinthians 7:22
For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.
1 Corinthians 9:1
Am I not an apostle? am I not free? have I not seen Jesus Christ our Lord? are not ye my work in the Lord?
1 Corinthians 9:19
For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
Galatians 4:26
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Galatians 4:31
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
1 Peter 2:16
as free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
As I understand these verses, and in order For 'His Good Works of Righteousness' to continue 'through His Body, the Called Out, Called Out Elect', in this current Age of Grace, His Elect have been freed from:
A. The dominion of sin.
B. Death.
C. Bondage.
D. Satan's kingdom.
So if we look at the opposite (when His Elect were not dragged out to Himself), we have the following status of His Elect:
I. Sin dominated their lives.
II. They were dead.
III. They were in Bondage.
IV. They were under the control of Satan.
So, His Elect now, in this Age of Grace must be:
1. Directed by His Holy Spirit.
2. Alive in Him.
3. Free to serve Him.
4. In The Kingdom of God.
Have I got my understanding correct?
Warmest Regards.
George
