Hi Gallenwalsh,
There is a article (6) 'The Two Judgments by FIRE' from which Marques got that excerpt above.

I know of no one who believe that Jesus Christ really IS "The Saviour of the World," who teaches that one can do anything and yet be saved. ("Saved" is a Scriptural word--"going" to heaven is not). Certainly I have never taught any such unscriptural nonsense. I teach the Scriptures. There will be those who will be saved (not NOW) but in the First Resurrection. And then there are the rest who will come up in the Second Resurrection to JUDGMENT. That will not be a pretty picture. Oh yes, all will be saved, but only through very severe JUDGEMENT. Everyone WILL repent, and be purged and cleansed by God's spiritual FIRE Heb. 12:29). They WILL learn to live godly lives of righteousness (Isa . 26:9, Phil. 2:9-11, etc.). Christendom will go through this purging of the lake of fire. The Harlot Church will learn "godliness and righteousness" before they will ever enter into the family of God. That is why we are warned, Aaron, "COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE" (Rev. 18:4). Have YOU, Aaron, come out of that Mystery Babylon religion of spiritual whores and harlots?

So, what happens to those who do not believe?
Ronald, you are so steeped in Christian paganism that you can't even read your Bible anymore and believe what you read:
In the resurrection to JUDGMENT, ALL UNBELIEVERS WILL BELIEVE:
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Hab 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
And what will all this GOD KNOWLEDGE accomplish? God our Saviour; 1Ti 2:3-6 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time."
Isa 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
Act 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Phi 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phi 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
And a hundred more Scriptures just like these..........

You wrote in part of your answer to someone's question: "The ONLY hope of the dead is the RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD."
So it looks like those resurrected to judgement are still spoken of as the "DEAD" and it doesn't say they are resurrected to "LIFE". If I've got this right, it's not until after the judgement that the "DEAD" will finally be made alive and have "LIFE".
Am I even close? :-)
Thanks again,
Dale Ray
Dear Dale:
Yes, you are close. "The "dead" are being judged because they are those who were dead, and also, even though resurrected to life, they are still spiritually dead, and that is the purpose for the judgment in fire--to bring them to spiritual life.

No, God is not "unfair." You are still looking at the lake of fire as some kind of a dungion of torture in real fire. It is JUDGMENT, not solely punishment. And Jesus plainly has told us that it is according to the magnitude of one's crimes. "Many stripes versus few stripes."
We too go through the fire of God's spiritual judgment: Jugement is upon the house of God NOW (I Pet. 4:17 and Heb. 12:29). It isn't pleasant, but it is not total torture either. There are two aspects of Judgment: [1] We must be purged of our old carnal sinful attitudes, and [2] we must then grow spiritually by godly living and produce spiritual fruit (Gal. 5:22-25).
The Church only partially sees the need for these in those called in this life, but is totally blind to the fact that Judgment produces the same thing in the Resurrection to Judgment. They think that "grace" is merely a noun that does it all for us rather than grace being a verb that does it all IN us and THROUGH us (by the Spirit of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross). God is ABLE to make us holy and righteous through His work in us and He is likewise able to do the same for the rest of humanity in Judgment. We blaspheme if we suggest that God either does not want to save humanity or that He is unable.

I have explained many times,
Jesus paid the PENALTY for sin, but paying the penalty for sin does not GET THE SIN
OUR OF THE SINNER. That is the purpose for judgment--to set things right: to set people right.
Etc., etc. Jesus saves us FROM our sins, not IN our sins.
God be with you,
Ray
