Hi everyone..I'm sorry I have taken so long to get on and thank you for praying for my family..My brother-in-law is very weak..he can only talk for brief periods of time..he called my brother tonight to pray with him..and he prayed for "salvation" All I can say is that God works all things according to His own will!
I want to ask you all to pray that God will give me wisdom in all of this..My sister's children know nothing of trusting in God or anything..so I need God to fill me with whatever I need to comfort them and reflect God's character to them...The burden of this will fall on my brother, my sister-in-law and me..the three of us will have to find the strength in God to hold this family together through this..this is so unlike when we all went through the death of my sister less than 2 months ago..The peace of God surrounded my whole family and bound us together with such bonds of love..The nurses in the hospice center where my sister was commented to me more than once that we were an unusual family..because we were having a family reunion as my sister lay dying..One nurse even told me, "I have been a hospice nurse for a long time and I have never seen a family quite like yours! You are all so loving and peaceful!" God's Spirit permeated the room and gave us all peace, my sister was the one who set the example..
This is different, but I believe God can give this part of my family peace as well! I will be in and out for the next few weeks but please don't forget me and keep me in your prayers..my sister and brother-in-law have been married for 45 years, I was 12 years old when they got married and I can barely remember a time when I didn't know him! This man is also my husband's uncle so he is even more than a brother-in-law!
Thank you so much Roy, for asking for prayer for me and posting for me! you are a dear brother and friend!
Thank you for being there as always for me!
Love you all!
Kathy
