Fiery Text from a General Discussion post

[markn902]

Hi everyone I got some inquiries into this

and I have to confess I really can't take credit for this I just used a free text generator on the internet and inserted it into the post. but I can show everyone how I did it. There are a number of free text generators on the internet you can google "cool text" or "text generator" or something like that and you will find a plethora of sites mostly used to jazzy up a myspace page. But I will show exactly what I used

1.http://www.flamingtext.com/
2.used the free tool they have there(its pretty cut and dry as far as instructions) to make text
3.I used the "Feurio" Logo and after typing text you have several options I always pick "get html"
4.You do have to create an account with an email address but its free and I've never had a prob
5.You get an HTML code that you can insert into a post using the forum tools that are right above the smiley faces that you see when you are posting. Just click the insert image button and paste the html code between the two img brackets that show up and there you are!

A word about free HTML most (actually all that I have seen) have a link back to something or other unwanted "stuff" that shows up when you do the above steps. In fact if you follow those steps exactly I think that you (or whoever clicks on it) will be taken to flaming text.com
If you don't have a problem with that then no biggie if however you are like me and want to clean it up you can practice your HTML skills at http://www.practiceboard.com/

you just paste your code into the box and it will show at the bottom how it will look on a post. Its a good tool for practicing and for me getting rid of extra stuff like links back or what not. if all you want is just the text then you're code should look like this
http://blog.flamingtext.com/blog/2010/10/06/flamingtext_com_1286337884_28048.png
all the other stuff in the code is not needed.

I hope this isn't too long winded any comments/questions/feedback is appreciated
