Ducks and Pumpkins and ~ Ref: rats in the cellar ~

This is a similar story that comes to mind in reference to the rat catcher on this board posted by our Grapehound that confirms for me the message … : Mar 13:11  But whenever they lead you away and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what you should speak or think. But speak whatever shall be given to you in that hour. For it is not you who speaks, but the Holy Spirit.

This wasn’t so for the Ducks though! The moral of this Duck story says

2Pe 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.
1Th 5:4  But you, brothers, are not in darkness, that the Day should overtake you like a thief.

Beware the Pumpkin Head! :D ;D :o :)

The Duck catchers were up steam looking for a nice fat Duck roast. They had just celebrated Halloween and so taking the huge emptied out shells of the Pumpkin, they carefully placed them in the water. The Pumpkins at first startled the Ducks yet as they became accustomed to them floating down stream, they lowered their guard.

After a while, the Duck catchers put on their heads the carefully prepared Pumpkin shell and carefully lowered themselves into the water. By now the Ducks were fully okay with the Pumpkin appearing to be floating down the water. One by one the Ducks were snared by their legs and pulled quick shift under the water, so as not to alarm any of the other Ducks….well…soon the Ducks became pot roast and non were the wiser.
