Heb 10:32  But you must continue to remember those earlier days, how after you were enlightened you endured a hard and painful struggle.

Hi gallenwalsh,

I think I found it. -----------------------

The proverb tells us to "Answer a fool according to a fool." And Jesus was a Master at doing this. The Chief Priest and Elders of the temple asked Jesus by what authority He did the things He did. Here then is my favorite New Testament sarcasm by Jesus:

"And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, which IF you tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, whence was it? From heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; He will say unto us, Why did you not then believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. And they answered Jesus, and said, we cannot tell.

And He [Jesus] said unto them, NEITHER TELL I YOU by what authority I do these things" (Matt. 21:24-27)!

Sarcasm? Maybe. But SHEER GENIUS! Yet millions and millions of Christians read these verses in Scripture and they donít get it. They donít see any sarcasm whatsoever. Well itís there, and itís everywhere in Christís ministry.
