Bryan Adams - This is where I belong
From the movie Spirit!

I hear the wind across the plain
A sound so strong - that calls my name
It's wild like the river - it's warm like the sun
Ya it's here - this is where I belong

Under the starry skies - where eagles have flown
This place is paradise - it's the place I call home
The moon on the mountains
The whisper through the trees
The waves on the water
Let nothing come between this and me

Cuz everything I want - is everything that's here
And when when we're all together - there's nothing to fear
And wherever I wander - the one thing I've learned
It's to here - I will always....always return

I absolutely love this song, its me! It's beautiful, its me coming home one day! I'm sure you all feel the same way too!

Thanks Alex,

Great Song ! Let me add My favorite Bryan Adams Songs to the mix. Convinced you already know these Hits, but they hit the Heart, that's for sure.

Enjoy, My Young Brother, thinking of starting a New Samson's favorite Tunes Thread, but need another category, different than previous ones.  ;)

Oooo yes! Most definitely have heard both of those. They are both great, but I really enjoy the one I linked because I've never heard a remake of it, but the song "heaven" for example has many many remakes that I had heard before stumbling upon bryan adams version of it so it wasn't as like, awsome as "This is where I belong."

I really really enjoy this one as well.

Bryan Adams - Sound the bugle

Sound the bugle now - play it just for me
As the seasons change - remember how I used to be
Now I can't go on - I can't even start
I've got nothing left - just an empty heart

I'm a soldier - wounded so I must give up the fight
There's nothing more for me - lead me away...
Or leave me lying here

Sound the bugle now - tell them I don't care
There's not a road I know - that leads to anywhere
Without a light I fear that I will stumble in the dark
Lay right down - decide not to go on

Then from on high - somewhere in the distance
There's a voice that calls, "Remember who you are"
If you lose yourself - your courage soon will follow

So be strong tonight - remember who you are
Yeah you're a soldier now - fighting in a battle
To be free once more - yeah, that's worth fighting for

Its a beautiful bitter sweet song! I really really like it. Like the other song, I've never heard any other rendition of it so to me unique!

Such a beautiful beautiful song. The last two versus lyrics are AMAZING. Breath taking.

Samson...thanks for sharing the songs.  The words and pictures were beautiful!
I find you to be a unique combination --intellectualist/romanticist--rare!
Wish I were more of both!  Duane

Thanks Brother,

My Mother In Law says that I'm a Man with allot of Passion, but I'm just a Man with My shortcomings & weaknesses, believe Me. Have a tendency of getting bored easily, like My wife says I am now, even though I watched The Outer Limits.

                                Carry On, Samson.
