Hello to all, would like to introduce myself I am Jnoah, not sure if this is the right spot, trying to learn my way around. I have been involved in the ministry at a denominal church for a few years and it seemed like the more I studied the more confused I became between the doctrines of men and the scriptures. The verse that I have heard so often quated is that God is not the author of confusion so how could all the confusion exist in the church? So that really started me searching for truth. I started searching out the best translation of the scriptures and low an behold I ended up up at bible-truths. I can not really put into words the joy and peace that I began to experience as I began to study the teachings of Ray. I have shed many tears of both joy an sorrow as read thru his material as alot of my questions were answered and my eyes began to be opened. Because of the truth of scripture was in opposition to many of the teachings that had been ingrained into me some things were difficult. I felt if it would be possible to just meet him I would be able to put some of my carnal reservations to rest. But it seemed at the time that would not be possible as he was having health issues. On one of my many visits to the site in early march I noticed an upcoming Bible study (are you afraid of God) anyone intersted in attending contact for info. Wow talk about an on time God! I made contact an received directions and made the trip from central Florida. I must admit I had never done anything like this before, going that far to meat someone I did not know at a place I have never been among people I had never seen! It was a truly humbling experience, I have never felt a sense of belonging an the Love that I experienced there that day thank God for truth.

Hi jnoah and welcome to the forum. :)

Most of us who have had the blessing of attending a bible conference or bible study with Ray, have had a similar experience as you described above.  As a female, I had traveled alone from Virginia to my first bible conference not knowing anyone nor had I ever been to Mobile.  This was so out of character for me because I am usually a far more cautious person, but interestingly, I felt no fear or doubt that this was a safe and good thing to do.  That was over four years ago, and I now fully understand why I had no fear.  Being drawn to this website has been a demonstration of God's greatest blessing in my life and I am extremely happy and humbled by this experience.:)
