Yes church doctrines is filled with man's reasonings and can only lead to contradiction with the Scripture and confusion.
The Bible study really was amazing, one of the best I have attended. Now that you have joined us here you can enjoy the fellowship and continue your study with us. I can definitely relate to how you felt. Many of us felt we "stumbled" upon Bible-truths.com only to suddenly feel like starving people suddenly placed at a enormous banquet of God's Truth. So many questions and confusions suddenly dissipated in the Light of God's Truth. May He continue to give you His Joy and Wisdom in your walk with Him. :)

I too would like to welcome you to the forum and as I was reading the other folks greetings I realized that maybe, when I joined, I didn't properly introduce myself. I thought that I had and therefore have been posting as if I had. I totally identify with you and others of the forum regarding the freedom from what I have come to realize as Babylon.
Just in case any of the members are wondering who this guy is who's been posting as if he were a long time member of the forum, let me know and I will reintroduce myself if I haven't already. I am still trying to figure some things out w/o apparent success.
