Yes it is so nice to have a place like this where we can come together with like minded people to share what we are learning. Come here when you have questions and I'm sure you will get some help and encouragement. Questions help us put together what we have learned in a response which is good for us, so it is good all the way around for us to have these discussions.

Thank you Kat for all of the links. :) I definitely have much to go on with and I'm sure it will take some time to go through but I very much look forward to the experience. It was very encouraging to also receive a detailed e-mail back from Mr. Smith himself this morning answering in more then satisfactory detail some nagging questions and helping me see some specific scriptures with new eyes in ways I have never looked at them before.

Duane, good to meet you. Don't worry I am no stranger to losing friends and becoming isolated from family due to my constant questioning of unsound scriptural teachings. I have never been interested in any less then the pure, unadulterated truth of God's word and unfortunately by nature this seems to put one at odds with mainstream Christianity. At a time where I have never felt more alone I don't think it's any accident I wound up here.

boy this sure is the theme for so many of us...constant questioning and desiring to know His word...and losing some friends and family... :'(

No, it is no accident ANY of us wound up here!!! ;) :D
