For the first few months I checked everything he said w/ several versions of the bible- slow going I can tell you --but rewarding in that what my heart had been telling me in all those years was truth....

God loves us and we will ALL be w/ him forever someday.

Well I've officially never been welcomed to a forum by so many people in my life. :) Feeling very at home already and believe me that's not something I feel very often. Like coming in from a storm outside. Thank you. And nope, never been married gmik.

Certaintyseeker, you are certainly seeking in the right spot!  You will find many gems to digest,, almost too many, too fast!  But you will enjoy the feast and encouragement you will get here.  You will need it BECAUSE the more you learn the FARTHER AWAY from basic fundmentalism you will get and the further you get --your  "friends" will drop you one at a time until you will be glad for the support you get here from us B-T'ers.  After you have studied the principles for quite a while and have your feet firm in what you believe, you cn check out "friends of Ray" on facebook--there are about 160 of us and it is to know each other better and lighter chatter than on the forum.  But be sure to ask your questions on THE FORUM as the moderators and participants will help you over the humps.
