Greetings to Lovers of God's Truths Everywhere!
So much has taken place these past 90 days that it seems like forever since I last wrote to you.
I found it impossible to type on my wife's laptop in my hospital bed. I hope this goes better, although my thoughts are a bit foggy as yet. Denny was right in telling you that my surgery went well, however there were things He nor I understood at the time. This was the first any only complete hip surgery that anyone could remember where the patient also had suffered for four years with stage iv bone cancer. The results are anyone's guess at this point. Will the the prosthesis bond to the cancer saturated bone? Will the bonding hold the steel prosthesis solid, etc?
On Friday when I was supposed to be released my blood count was way down. Then my blood was too thin, then too thick, then too thin. Finally even though it wasn't right, they released me. There are now other major concerns to be aware of during the healing process. A lot can go wrong--rejection, blood clots, infection, etc. I'm a little too weak to go into all of it right now, but I will try to keep you abreast.
Remember: God is our Healer.
God be with you,
Ray
