I was searching the internet for organic weed killers for my garden when I came across this interesting site http://freeplants.com/.  Mike McGroarty says,

"Small Plants are Selling Like Crazy in this Economy because People are Staying Home and Doing more in their Yards." 

That sounds so plausible.  Just thought I'd share this bit of information for anybody who loves gardening and wants to make an honest living in these difficult times.  Mike also shares some valuable gardening tips for the novice gardener like me. Now that I am out of full time ministry, what I thought I was "called" to do, it has freed up some time for me to appreciate the little wonders that God has created for our enjoyment.

I wasn't promoting the book or anything else, just the idea.  Actually I hadn't checked out the entire site before I posted the link.  I still think it is a valid business option.  Here where I live in India, we have several small sized plant nurseries in the open fields alongside the roads.  I didn't realize till now that it could be such a lucrative business. Sadly though, I'm not much of a gardner!

True, that while there are several scams going on in the internet, not everything can be written off as fradulent.  The internet is a viable medium for mass marketing and if you have a marketable skill, you can use the internet to your advantage. Good and evil.

I tried the web site and all I found was a very nice little booklet with pages of good advice about gardening for our own consumption.
It was something I would share with family.
No request for money as far as I could see.

Perhaps I am the gullible kind!  And you're right about not giving unsolicited advice to people.  We do exactly want we want to do, including getting scammed, because we have no free choice.
