Kevin:
Jennie, I have family that works at them. When you said that about the old ladies in walkers I thought of some of the things that they told me. People get on the slot machines and they will wet themselves because they dont want to give up there machine. One time an old man didnt want to give up his machine so he messed himself. The stories just goes on. I feel for these people that have these strong addictions to these places. I guess they can be fun if you can control it. People with addictive personalities should stay far from them.

dogcombat:
In truth Kevin, I find casinos are like everything else.  Someone will be addicted to them.  I play the lottery on ocassion, but I used to be a pac man a holic at the arcades.  Name something, and you'll have no trouble finding someone who can't say no.  The thing to consider, is when that little voice inside you says WALK AWAY!! then don't hesitate.

This verse should sum it up dont ya all think?

Mar 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

We are not to be of this world or the riches it can bring us. Gambling is just a means to this end.

Hey again, You all are right  even though Ihad fun they can be dangerous places for some.  I have an uncle that should never go there because he does have a gambling problem. Once he starts , it just runs out of control.

jennie:
We've been to porchville too! Since we live down south we have a front porch all across the front of the house and a back porch too. You can catch the sunrise as it comes over the mountains and then you can go out back and catch the sunset. It's a great place to go!
