Please help me to understand "wicked shall not inherit the earth". I know the Elect will rule with Jesus at HIS return. The righteous shall inherit the Earth and shall never be removed (e.g. Abraham), now what happens to the wicked that will not inherit the earth?
Do these New Testament Scriptures help?
Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Ephesians 6:16
above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Colossians 1:21
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
2 Thessalonians 2:8
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
2 Thessalonians 3:2
and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
2 Peter 2:7
and delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2 Peter 3:17
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
1 John 2:13
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
1 John 2:14
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
1 John 3:12
Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.
1 John 5:18
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.1 John 5:19
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
Matthew 7:13
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:Romans 3:16
destruction and misery are in their ways:
Romans 9:22
What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:1 Corinthians 5:5
to deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.2 Corinthians 10:8
For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
2 Corinthians 13:10
Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction.

whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

1 Timothy 6:9
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
2 Peter 2:1
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

Heb. 12:6 "For whom the Lord loves He CHASTENS, and [AND] ...SCOURGES every son whom He receives [or is assenting]"
Do The Scriptures not teach that all Israel will be saved from destruction?
After The Saviour's Ascension, were not non-Israelites grafted into His Olive Tree?
Were / are not His Elected Ones being judged now during this age of Grace?
Were / are His Elect being judged by His Consuming Fire, that destroys all the lusts of the flesh?
Will He not during the next Age, not judge the wicked by His Consuming Fire, when He Chooses and Calls them unto Himself?
Warmest Regards.
