Fire
« on: August 03, 2023, 02:24:09 PM »

Hello family, I pray you are all well.

Last night our daughter returned home from work to see her apartment
building on fire and our grandchildren standing outside with their pets.
Afire had started in another unit and our son in law after removing his children
and pets , ran back into the building and grabbed the fire extinguisher and
ran towards people screaming in the unit.
He got them out with the pet and then ran back in again to try to put the fire out.
The firefighters showed up and put the fire out. The fireman thanked our son in law
and said that if he hadn’t helped , that the fire may have burned down the whole building.
The fireman said people nowadays would rather walk over dead bodies.

My daughter said that her husband never thought twice and put himself in danger which surprised
her because he is not exactly a people person and he and I don’t exactly get along.
Plus he has COPD and sick alot so this should have shocked me but not too much shocks me anymore.
I am so grateful that Our Lord used our son in law to do good. Like the Good Samaritan.
I told my daughter to hug him tightly and thank God for him and for everything.
They have a rocky relationship, so maybe she will see a little light in him.
The whole world is groaning .

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season . WE SHALL REAP, if we faint not. Gal.6:9

Don’t lose heart, God Bless You All
In Christ, Pamela

The Lord intends evil for good.  One incident with many outcomes.  I hope their lives are changed if only marginally from this.

Thank you Wendy. The unit that burned was not our daughters but one on the same floor.

Yes Dave , you are quite right.

Gen. 18:18…. Seeing that Abraham shall surely  become a great and mighty
nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in Him.

Now that’s good news .
Come Lord Jesus , 💕
