Forgive me if I have put this topic in the wrong place. Dear family I am writing this to
inform you of the many scams that are going around, by mail, by phone, by computer.
About two weeks ago I had a phone call from someone who claimed to be my daughter
I really thought it was her, she was crying and said that she was in a car accident and
that she had a busted nose and lip, she said someone ran a stop sign and she hit them
broadside and that she really needed my help, she said that recently she had taken
some medicine that caused her blood alcohol to be a little high so the police took her
in( MY DAUGHTER IS NOT AN ALCOHOLIC) I believed everything she was telling me,
I am not the top card in the deck, I guess you can tell that by the way I am writing
and I am not a spring chicken :)but I my love daughter and I would do almost anything
for her,she said a person would be calling my and let me know how I could help, and
she said not to tell anyone it would be an embarrassment to her.In about 15 min I
received a phone call from someone that represented my daughter, he ask if I lived
near my daughter I said no she lives in Ohio I live in Colorado, he said we can get her
out if we post a bond, the bond was 150,000,but we only have to put up 18500
he said if we paid that right away we could get her out within an hour, if not it would
be about two or three days,we don't want anyone to know about this not even the
the bank what the money was for,it could cause my daughter embarrassment,he
told me to call him as soon as I get the money,I said ok, I went to my bank to get
the money,in a friendly way they ask what it was for, I told them that I could not expose
what it was for,the clerk talked with someone above them, they were very nice to me,
and that this might be a scam, the supervisor suggest I call my daughter, I did,
I told her what was going on she had a good laugh. After I was supposed to have the
money I was to call the representative on what to do next, I called him and he said
to go to the court house call him when I get there he will tell me what to do.
I call him and told him this was a scam, and that someday he would face judgment.
BE ALERT- pray for one another
