All is of God

[Dynamo54]

I feel compelled to discuss something I have been thinking about a lot lately...something I know that in the past I have not internalized (for want of a better word) enough, or thoroughly. And because I have not fully internalized it I cause myself great anguish.

We know from scripture that all is of God. Also, that God knows the end from the beginning. We know that God does not make mistakes, or that ANYTHING is left to chance.

For instance, we are here and now reading this because this is the time that God had determined for it to happen. We were born whenever we were, and not 200 or 1000 years earlier. We were born into our families in the order that God determined...and if one is an only child then that was determined also. We know that God gives all creatures (including us) the animating "spirit" that enables life, and in our case, consciousness.

I would imagine that many of us, if not all, has multiple times said to ourselves and to God, "why do I know what I know about God and His plan, and the vast multitudes don't know?" "Why me Lord?"

It is humbling, and at the same time frightening. I think to me the frightening part comes from wondering/thinking that I cannot do it....i cannot overcome this beastly, narcissistic, selfish "thing" that I am. And that God knows exactly what I am...and I know that I can not fool God, even when I sometimes try to fool myself.

I ask myself (and ask God although He hasn't answered me) is this turmoil of struggling to overcome me, any or all part of the "tribulation" that all of God's saints must go through. Or is there some future great physical tribulations that must take place. To date, I don't see great physical tribulation in my life.

So I read and listen to Ray's messages,  and his answers to questions, and certain pieces and phrases come to mind. "You will overcome whatever sins you have when God has determined for you to overcome them". (Of course I am thinking we must always be a little bit short of totally overcoming since only God is perfect and doesn't sin, and we can only be perfect once we have the full measure of His Spirit.)

So back to my earlier premise...all is of God. Now of course my sins are not of God...they are truly mine and mine alone. I can't blame them on anyone or anything...only me. That is one thing I truly tell myself that I will not blame where I am in life, or where I am in my sinful life, on anything outside of myself. And I am truly sick of that "self". I want to have leave of self and fully have Christ live my life (as hard as that is for me to truly understand). But that is again what I have been thinking about a lot lately.

I must have faith that it will all come together (for me) in God's time. I must not get weary trying (although I am weary of me).

I imagine that others have been where I am now. Not wanting to give up even when greatly discouraged. Looking to that time (when it is God's time) to overcome this self.

So, Christ willing, I will not give up. And we have ample scriptures that Christ IS willing that I, and all men and women, do overcome.

Hallelujah, Praise God the Father and His Son!

Right now my biggest problem is forgiving the people that have done great harm to my son and granddaughter, which continues to this day.

Just a few days ago a dentist put me in a lot of pain and lied to me. But I will get over that and will forgive that dentist in time.

But now I have to find another dentist to finish the work. I have to explane everything to the new dentist and that's causing me a lot of stress because dentists stick together. What if I cannot find another dentist?

So as you said "all is of God" which is true. And we know God planned everything from the beginning which must include our misery. But you also said "of course my sins are not of God" which seems to be a contradiction?

We know Rays says we are born sinning machines. It's built into us, which is also true. So in that respect our sins do belong to us.

Working on a video and this text from Lake 2:

God knows all in advance. God doesn't just know what "will" happen in the future, He causes all that will happen in the future. God IS the future. God is the Alpha and the Omega -- He IS the beginning; He IS the end, and nothing can be different from what God says MUST BE.

We have got to get away from the "God allows certain things" mentality and syndrome. God CREATES, God DESTROYS, God HEALS, God KILLS, God CAUSES, God BRINGS ABOUT, God SAVES. God does not "allow" things that He has not foreordained to be! This popular doctrine among the religions of the world is utter unscriptural foolishness. The teaching suggests that man does things that God had no previous knowledge of, does not approve of, wishes would have never happened, but nonetheless, He "allows" them. Certainly He "allows" them in as much as He does not "disallow" them, but this still begs the question as to their true origin. God is the Creator, not Satan.

Thank you Dennis. This teaching on the Origin of Sin is a lot of meat. Great choice,
For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
(Phil. 2:13)

Are you still doing shorts as well? Maybe our members can offer some input. Just a suggestion.

I can understand how you feel about your children suffering at the hands of
others. Our daughter has lived a very abusive and painful life, not only of her
own making but also at her husband's hands.
This post is ,All is of God, knowing that ,and seeing what that ALL encompasses
is a lot of pain , that pain is profound. I am praying for your children Dennis and
am asking our members of the body of Christ to pray as well. We need to keep
the unity of the spirit, in love for each other as we are growing together in Christ.

Dynamo54, I think we can all relate to your post. These things are all part
of our growing process. The trials, tests and tribulations are all to train and
strengthen us. Ray said that once God begins a work in you , He will finish it
and as for the Why me Lord, we come to realize it's not because we have done
anything good of a fabled free will that's for sure but that anyone who is of the few
were already predestined before they were even born. So IF you are to be
an overcomer according to the will of God , you will be, however we can never
know for sure. Remember the big IF.
I love this scripture " Of mine own self I can do nothing" Jesus said that.(John 5:30)
And so everything truly is of God, absolutely everything.
This free will carnal minded beast is no match for Our Lord Jesus.Paul said
don't worry about anything. Well , are any of us at that stage yet,I don't know ,Ray said
getting saved is the hardest thing we will ever go through. Are we willing to suffer
with Christ, are we willing to be hated for His namesake, are we willing to suffer
tribulation and yes at times my brother it is frightening. I , like you do not
feel as though I personally have suffered much tribulation but that most of my
anguish came from seeing my family members suffer. With the way things are
happening in the world right now, we may have to suffer extreme hardship.
We just don't know what is going to happen from one minute to the next.
And so........Psalm 146:3....Put not you trust in princes, in a son of man in whom there is no salvation.
Jet.17:12.....a glorious throne set on high from the beginning is the place
of our sanctuary.
Verse 7..... Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord whose trust IS THE LORD.

Jesus is everything. God Bless You All 💕

"Are you still doing shorts as well? Maybe our members can offer some input. Just a suggestion."

I'm always looking for profound shorts. Just remember they have to be less than 60 seconds in length. So yes, please suggest away.

Dynamo54, saw these verses someone posted online somewhere and thought you might appreciate them and be encouraged by them.

Luk 10:17  The Seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name."
Luk 10:18  He said to them, "I watched Satan fall from heaven like a lightning flash.
Luk 10:19  Look, I have given you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy; nothing will ever harm you.
Luk 10:20  However, don't rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
Luk 10:21  In that same hour He rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and said, "I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and the learned and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, because this was Your good pleasure.

Luk 10:17  The Seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name."

I don't have that power yet Porter but I'm pretty sure I can sometimes recognize when I'm being manipulated.

I just watched "The Unpardonable Sin" video which I can make into a new Short with a little editing Musterseed.

I have not watched the "Christians Do Not Have to Love Terrorists" video in many years but did so last night and it will help me with people I have deal with from time to time: https://youtu.be/PT7CANf88VY?si=7RlCrC5J5qrXUTBA

[Porter]

Dennis, perhaps the ability to recognize when you're being manipulated is the power Jesus is referring to.

"Next we must understand that demons are FALSE DOCTRINES -- "doctrines of demons" Paul calls them. So anything that would influence us to believe in, follow, or be persuaded by any such things are demons influences."

[Musterseed]

False doctrines are doctrines of demons, yes that's true, but remember the
story Ray told us about the night he went to a church and it took five grown men to hold down this one woman who had Demons. Ray said "these things are real, don't think they aren't "I'm paraphrasing of course. Who remembers boke, booke and no ?
That was their names. Evil spirits are real . Ray said he don't think they can manifest
into a human. Satan entered Judas. You know guys, I truly believe that God would not let Ray teach us anything that was not sound and Dennis I believe you do have
the power to rebuke Satan if you are one of God's elect. Ray said there were
spiritual counterparts to all this physical stuff on earth even if some of it is perverted.
I think there's a scripture in Hebrews 8 about it.
Psalm 78:49, speaks of evil angels among them.( ESV .... destroying angels) and what about the frogs in Exo.8: 2-14, I don't think they were destroying frogs 😂.
Sorry about going on but I believe this subject is very important even if I am wrong.
God will correct me. My coming to Bible-truths was a spiritual nightmare —at first.
I can say for sure that I was turned over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh.
I was Job- ed . It was horrible. I have always pondered about giving details about
my experience but because I haven't yet , I know this is God's will.
The Sovereignty of God for me is the most impressive and important and
beautiful thing that one can never imagine until experienced, even though frightening
at times, but it also comes with many blessings. In Guilty of all and other teachings
Ray said you have to know what you are. After these years with Bible truths I still
study THE MYTH OF FREE WILL . It is the most eye opening jolt or shock in the
nature of the beast, human behaviour that blows my mind every time I study it
and I study it a lot. We are physical beings having a spiritual experience.
This experience is not sugar and spice and everything nice. Not trying to scare you
but we already know who the god of this world is and why God uses him/ it ,so it should be no surprise how far that it can go . There is much to be gleaned from
all of Rays teachings and to quote Ray , we have to pay attention to all the words.
I've learned to pay attention not just to the words of scripture but to the words
Ray spoke. There is a scripture that says " I have many things to tell you but you
can't know them yet" many things. Everything is perfectly timed so take heart and
know that you are precious people to God and God didn't raise no pansies 😁
Our books are already written, Only God is in control of every aspect of your life and all humanity. Nothing is out of control, nothing. But, but it is not perceived that way
by the world . Everything will turn out perfectly. 777😁

[Musterseed]

Dennis, here is another idea for a short however it might just be too profound.
But I did get it from one of Rays teachings. Maybe others remember this as well.

This is really an in your face shock to the mind if God opens eyes to it ,so you can
decide.

Luke 6:46.... Why do YOU call me Lord, Lord and do not the things that I say?

Well, who is the YOU  in this scripture? The Jews? The Muslims? The thousands of
atheists? The Buddhists, Hindus, etc, etc. Just who is it that calls Jesus Lord, Lord?

[Dennis Vogel]

Dennis, perhaps the ability to recognize when you're being manipulated is the power Jesus is referring to.

"Next we must understand that demons are FALSE DOCTRINES -- "doctrines of demons" Paul calls them. So anything that would influence us to believe in, follow, or be persuaded by any such things are demons influences."

I don't have problems with doctrines. I have problems reacting to evil people I see in the news, etc. Sometimes I say to myself "God just kill that evil person" but then I remember Romans 9:21-23:

"Does not the potter have power over the clay, from the same lump to make one vessel for honor and another for dishonor?"

And 2 Timothy 2:20:
"But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour."

These evil people are just doing what they are here for. And I could have been one of them except for the Grace of God!

So the link you provided could be a shorter (not a Short) YouTube video Porter. It's directed to this forum and not an article. If you or anyone finds any more of these please post them. Thanks.

[Porter]

Will do Dennis.

Dynamo54, I can tell you that most of the tribulation that I have experienced occurred within me. Assuming of course that I am indeed experiencing spiritual tribulation. There are things that indicate that I may be in that tribulation. Granted, I understand correctly what tribulation is and does as described here in Hebrews.

Heb 12:22  Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God (the heavenly Jerusalem), to myriads of angels in festive gathering,
Heb 12:23  to the assembly of the firstborn whose names have been written in heaven, to God who is the judge of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect,
Heb 12:24  to Jesus (mediator of a new covenant), and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.
Heb 12:25  See that you do not reject the One who speaks; for if they did not escape when they rejected Him who warned them on earth, even less will we if we turn away from Him who warns us from heaven.
Heb 12:26  His voice shook the earth at that time, but now He has promised, Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.
Heb 12:27  Now this expression, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of what can be shaken--that is, created things--so that what is not shaken might remain.
Heb 12:28  Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us hold on to grace. By it, we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and awe;
Heb 12:29  for our God is a consuming fire.

This Hebrews passage is a call back to the physical tribulation of the Israelites under Moses, found in Deuteronomy 4. This Hebrews passage is also the spiritual reality of the Elect who are enduring spiritual tribulation under Christ. First the physical with Moses, then comes the spiritual with Jesus.

The whole idea with administering tribulation is to remove "what can be shaken, that is, created things". Spiritually speaking, created things are the idols of our hearts, false gods, false doctrines etc. Pay attention to all the words in Mark 9:25,26, because it's a physical type for how Christ casts out the "demons" that possess our minds and influence our hearts.

Mar 9:25  When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly coming together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, "You mute and deaf spirit, I command you: come out of him and never enter him again!"
Mar 9:26  Then it came out, shrieking and convulsing him violently. The boy became like a corpse, so that many said, "He's dead."

And you know what happens when Christ casts out our demons.

Mat 12:28  But if I cast out the demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come on you [...we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken — Heb 12:28].

Lest we forget how we enter into the Kingdom.

Act_14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

As for the phrase "created things" from Hebrews 12:27 as a reference to those things we worship, it does not stand alone.

Rom 1:25  who changed the truth of God into the lie, and worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

When we boil it down, we realize we are the created thing that we worship. Ray went into great detail describing this in his papers, so I don't need to explain it here.

I guess the whole point of this is to tell you not to be so concerned with what you can see and feel with your physical senses. Live by faith.
