Good afternoon Ray,

thank you for all your efforts.

However I have checked one thing with a friend who reads her bible - born again Israelite believer - in Hebrew and she told me the text in Malachi does say "atem mehara", meaning exactly "you are cursed" and not "you have cursed".

I just thought you might be interested, since you say you seek to restore Truth.

With blessings

Dear @nne:

Your friend is totally wrong. there is no word "ARE" in this Hebrew passage. It is even in italic in the King James to show that it is not part of the original Hebrew verse.  It reads in a Hebrew Interlinear as follows:

"in curse you curse and Me you defraud, the whole nation."

Here it is from the Concordant Old Testament:

"With a curse you curse Me, and Me you are defrauding, the nation--all of it."

Rotherham's Emphasized Bible:

"With a curse have you been cursing, and yet Me have ye been defrauding,--the whole nation."

And there are other Versions which also translate this verse properly.

God be with you,
