How can we be afraid of our Father God after the ministry, death and Life of Christ? Seeing the many times He forgave sinners, healed the sick, raised the dead, and gave His life for ransom.
Looking past the letter and into the message not only through the Word, but the actions brought to pass by this Word, we can confess our sins to One as compassionate, loving and merciful such as this.
(Joh 5:36) But I have the greater witness than John's, for the works which the Father has given Me, that I should finish them, the works which I do, themselves, witness concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.
This is an incredible verse, notice the works He does, themselves, give Him witness. For example the changing water into wine speaks far more than the actual changing the water into wine, it speaks something deeper and witnesses to Christ in ushering in the new covenant. The many parables, have a deeper meaning than what is on the surface.
Seems those under wrath speak of death, punishment, and the severity of God. And those under grace speak of Life, forgiveness, and the mercy of God. It truly is a new life with a whole new way of thinking. That grace working in us brought us to the point of total reliability on Christ who brought to us Life, forgiveness, and mercy. How else can we share it with others?
