Jesus Forsaken?
« on: December 09, 2006, 11:59:47 AM »

I just wanted your input on a subject that is weighing on my mind.  The church preaches that God forsake Jesus on the cross because He could not stand to look at sin.  They say that while Jesus took the sins of the world on his back to save mankind that God, who knows no sin, turned his back on Jesus and thus forsake Him on the cross.  Was Jesus quoting Psalm 22  to show Israel that He was the true savior?  I have been told that God forsake no one. So why would He forske His only Son?
I look forward to your reply

Dear Chad:
Your understanding of Jesus quoting the first verse of Psalm 22 is a correct one. I have about 20 pages already written on this subject of "Was Jesus Made SIN?" that will be posted in the near future. Yes, and Hell Part D will also be posted in the near future.................................................
I hope.
God be with you,
