To All,
I have found a new favorite past time. That is to play poker with my neighbors and friends with poker chips of course. No money involved, just dignity when I manage to lose 5500 poker chips in the "all in" hand.
In the midst of the poker game, David had put our precious one down to sleep. IN the middle of silence, while shuffling the deck for the next hand, we all heard distinctly a sweet voice cry out "Momma." With my heart in my mouth, I hurried back to him, and there he was in his radiant glory of cuteness looking over his crib railing at me, arms outsteched and he began to belly laugh. I cried at this point, and picked him up.
I of course made a Very big deal of this, and the neighbor and my husband rejoiced in this. My son is so amazing and hopefully one of these days we may add on to the Moynihan-Flippin family again.
I wanted to add this, becuase in all of that utterance of the one word, these last few days were made right, and all is okay.
Life is Good and Good enough is more than enough for me. With David-Lee thrown in, life is heavenly. What a blessing children are. How good God is.
And on this note, I must bid my adius for the night.
Sleep well all.
Sincerely,
Anne C. McGuire
