Deborah-Leigh:
Hello Dwight

You commented :These comparisons' really expose the strong delusion......

I believe this is very important! The tree of the knowledge of good and evil is of the same root and its fruit is comparisons that we have to come away from, overcome....We overcome once we see the ONE tree of life, Lamb of God....

Just a thought...

Peace to you

Arcturus :)

DWIGHT:
Hi Arcturus,

Yes, it's so true, from the very beginning in the Garden of Eden all the way to the end in Revelation, He is the ONE tree of life.  This is the tree that we should be feeding on.  Also, in the beginning there was a river in the midst of the garden and in the end there is a river that flows from the throne of God.  We could go on and on, but all is Christ and Christ is ONE.  God is making us that tree and that river because we are in Him...all these wonderful types of Christ in the scriptures are also types of us, His elect, whom He is making in His image. Christ is the image of God the Father, and we are the image of Christ, but it's all ONE.  As He is, so are we.  Praise God!

Your brother,

Dwight

Deborah-Leigh:
Yes Dwight

EXACTLY! You articulated that extremely well. Thank you!

Peace to you son of God!

Arcturus :)

Hi Dwight,

--- Quote ---But after reading and re-reading, it's really about the whole scriptures.  He brings the whole bible together in the most simple of terms.  "The sum of thy word is truth."  It's so simple when you realize the scriptures are all one.
--- End quote ---

I have heard Ray say, that in order to understand anything in the Bible, you have to know the whole Bible, or something like that.  What I think that means is as you say the scriptures are all one.  If you take any part of it, there is truth in it, but to understand one part of it you have to also have a knowledge of the rest of it.
Before BT when a read the Bible I just read the words, and I knew what it said.  Now when I read, the words have life and meaning, it is so different.  It's seems everytime I read in it God shows me something profound, I am not just reading the words anymore, I am seeing Christ in them  :)

mercy, peace, and love

Kat,

Your post summed up what Paul said about having to feed with the Milk of the word rather than the Meat of it.  I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.   (1 Corinthians 3:2)

Now the Spirit REVEALS the truths of God, as we read the scriptures.  Thus we now can digest the Meat of it.  Milk represents knowledge and Meat represents understanding..  Thus we begin to see the Meat to eat that Christ spoke of.  Oh by the Grace of God, we thank him for the blessing of Understanding His truths.

Ches.
