Dear Iris,
I know you don't know me as yet, but I DO feel for you, and deeply hope that your surgery site knits itself back together VERY SOON with God's Help..... Whenever I suffer any particular pain, just as soon as I remember to do so, I say to God : "This, too, SHALL pass, one way or another!" And God HELPS me! (the ball seems to roll in my favor to HELP me just about as soon as I finish thinking that thought.....He WANTS,
DELIGHTS, to HELP us!!
The dictionary definition of the word "faith" is " confidence (the "FI" in "conFIdence" means "faith", such as found in the Marine Corps' motto, "Semper Fi", meaning "Always Faithful"), so please pray with me as I ask God for your GOOOOD Healing..... and this is God's Golden Opportunity to SPEAK to your heart & mind by doing anything and everything that brings you CLOSER & CLOSER to Him while recuperating (Bible-reading, listening to Spiritual music, etc.). I too have suffered GREAT physical pain, and as long as my spirit felt joyful because of KNOWING how NEAR God is to me, I was able to tolerate the painful period of time, KNOWING that "this, too, SHALL pass!"
Walking WITH you, with
GOD before, behind, and
alongside of you,
Linda
P.S. My own mother had quadruple bypass heart surgery 5 years ago, at age 79, and is doing quite fine in that regard! So I pray that you will "come up to speed" in God's own wonderful time, and reap blessings all along the way during your recovery!!
