Dance With God
gmik:
:D Was that cute.
As a baby "Christian" 35 years ago, I loved this song we sang at a Catholic Charismatic meeting:
We will see Je....sus
We will behold His fa....ce
From the rivers of Life we'll drink
and we'll DANCE all over the pla....ce
Yes, we'll dance.. when we see His Face!
I remember the tune vividly but haven't actually heard it in over 30 years. Don't know if it is scriptural but at that time I was being led from a distant, Old father God type who was mad at me, to this touchable, cares-for-me Brother.

Gena - "Singing and dancing" and "to my knees" shall I fall.

Hi Janice,
I used to dance with my dad too! I had forgotten about that until you mentioned your experience. What a wonderful memory for both of us to hang on to especially since both our dads have Alzheimers now.
With my dad, it was polkas or waltzes, and as a teenager of course I was embarrassed and kept telling him "no, no, leave me alone". But he wouldn't take no for an answer, and up I had to go onto the dancefloor. And he would lead and twirl and have this really proud and happy look on his face, and I would step on his feet several times in my awkwardness. But I totally loved it once I got up there dancing, and at the end of the dance, we would both be laughing and out of breath. He would then escort me back to my seat, kiss my hand with a flourish, and thank me for the dance.
Thanks jER and Janice, this memory has brought a smile to my face today.

I know of an artist here in town and she had painted an o ilpainting of Yeshua and woman in a white long dress dancing. (at the marriage supper of the LORD) His face was toward her so you couldn''t see it. We worked together a couple of yrs ago to raise money (and we raised $40,000.00 for the many Gush Katif, Israel residents whom had to be relocated to a tent city several miles away when Palestine took over that I Israeli land...), anyway, the picture was sold at our silent auction for $550.00...it was very nice!
