Hi Selina,
Paul writes "the love of money" is the problem, not money itself;
1Ti 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Our love lies where the heart is, if we love the things that money can buy us rather than love God for what He has, does and will provide for us than money is an evil thing, if we have been chosen to be a good steward of the money (or anything else for that matter) He will bless us exceedingly.
Mat 25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
Mat 25:29 For unto everyone that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
Anything, any action inspired by love of God will reap rewards, anything inspired by love of self (vanity) will be purged and destroyed, as Jesus Himself said we cannot serve two masters.
Mat 6:24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
His Peace and Wisdom to you,
Joe
