The "saviors"
Deborah-Leigh:
That is a thought provoking view Joe...You observe quote : When we look at what Christ experienced in His Body, through His life as a man in the flesh on this earth we can also see this as a prophecy for what His present Body on this earth will experience (perhaps not physically but certainly mentally and spiritually) unquote.....It makes sense because quote:
[A] "And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the Last Adam [Jesus Christ] was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is NATURAL; and afterward that which is SPIRITUAL" (I Cor. 15:45-46).
"It is sown [first] a NATURAL BODY [a physical body which dies]; it is raised [afterward] a SPIRITUAL BODY [which is made immortal and never dies]…" (I Cor. 15:44).
[C] "Who shall change our [first] VILE BODY, that it may be fashioned like unto His [afterward] GLORIOUS BODY…" (Phil. 3:21).
[D] "If I have told you EARTHLY things [first], and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of HEAVENLY [spiritual] things [afterward]?" (John 3:12).
The sequence of God's plan of salvation for mankind is most important—First is the physical and then comes the spiritual. http://bible-truths.com/twelve.htm
We are in the spiritual realm as we suffer spiritual adversity, persecutions and earth shattering events that are taking place in our lives. This need not be literally seen to be felt or experienced!
Peace to you brother

So much wisdom in this thread. This is one of my favorite topics! The saviors of Obadiah, the elect of God!
What a brilliant exchange, joe and arc! Thank you both for sharing, I was reminded of many things I have let slip away to time.

--- Quote ---Oba 1:21 And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's.
--- End quote ---
Here are some more versus to add to this list;
Matthew 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
I Peter 2:9 "but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city [HOLY NATION] that is set on a hill cannot be hid.[/color]
And Psalm 2 seems to directly correlate to the saviours upon the mount.
Psalms 2 1-9 "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord,
and against His anointed, saying, Let us break THEIR bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of zion. I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, thou art my son: this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. thou shalt break them with a rod of iron: thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel."
I'll find some more! :D

Adding more to the Pot :)
Hebrews 12
22 But you have come to mount Zion, and the city of the living God, celestial Jerusalem, and to ten thousand messengers,
23 to a universal convocation, and to the ecclesia of the firstborn, registered in the heavens, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of the just perfected,
24 and to Jesus, the Mediator of a fresh covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling which is speaking better than Abel.
Jude 1
14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesies to these also, saying, "Lo! the Lord came among ten thousand of His saints,
Deuteronomy 33
2 when he said: Yahweh came from Sinai, And He arose from Seir for them. He shone from Mount Paran, And He arrived with some from myriads of the holy ones. At His right are warriors who are His.
3 Indeed, He is cherishing the wikinsmen. All the holy ones are in Your hand. And they are huddled at Your feet. Each obtains something from Your words.
