Thank you; I was hoping it was scriptural.
  8) 'She opens her hand to the poor, and reaches out her hands to the needy.'

I received a beautiful letter (stamped with a seal) from the 'Immaculate Heart of Mary' witch clearly stated "...you are no longer allowed or welcomed...".

I'm sorry.
"she opens her hand..." is proverb 31:20

"I received a letter..." is a nasty letter I received from a church.
 :P was childish.

The new member with forgiveness issues is me.

Please forgive me Joyce.

Hi Mike,

I'm glad you have joined us here  :)
If you were in a church for years and then tried to share the truth with them, it is hard to be rejected by that church.  But take heart...

Isa 66:5  Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at his word: "Your brothers who hate you and cast you out for my name's sake have said, 'Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy'; but it is they who shall be put to shame.

The truth is only for those who have eyes to see, the rest only have the lies they hear preached.

Isa 59:4  No one calls for justice,
Nor does any plead for truth.
       They trust in empty words and speak lies;
They conceive evil and bring forth iniquity.

It is good to have this place to come to and share with people of like mind.  We are all learning here and growing together in the knowledge of the turth.  I hope you will seek comfort from the world with us, we have many things here that you may be interested in reading.

Oh! Sorry, Mike T,
Kat is right...take heart! And get used to being rejected by the "church" of our day....it is no different from the church in Jesus' day....they rejected Him, they will reject you...but it is all for a purpose...

Romans 8:18
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

with love,
Joyce :)

Mike T, I know how you feel....believe me, most of us here at BT have experienced our share of nastyness.....as for me, I just get ignored now as though I was never part of the church I used to belonged to....like I don't exist anymore, but I rejoice in this.  So take heart.

Wow! I signed in to end this 'introduce yourself' post on an up note; imagine my joy! You all beat me to it. THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD WORDS. Isa 66:5 unleashed a tear (a diamond) in my right eye.
I visited the I.H.M. bookstore because the sign said 'ALL ARE WELCOME'. I belong to the 'I am a sinner' church. I immediately responded to the I.H.M. letter by sending Isa 50:5 Hos 1:10 Mt 17:27 on a business card (my spirit compelled me). I think it got through, because: a statue (of a woman pointing toward the ground) in front of the church was demolished and replaced by a statue of a man raising both hands toward the sky; then the woman who was working at the I.H.M. bookstore (she sent the cops  :o after me) said 'Thank you' to me; then I heard '[name of the man who wrote you are no longer allowed or welcomed] doesn't work there anymore; I think they sent him on circuit to Alaska'. I receive more joy than sorrow from this (difficult to understand) event, thank you Jesus! All glory be to God.
Thanks again to everyone.

HI  :)
If anyone has a rejection or 'old church' story (or anything else) and doesn't mind sharing, I would love to hear it.

I think Joyce's original reply is very profound. When I first read it I thought "She is quick, and overflowing with love." I SHOULD HAVE ADDRESSED THIS SPEEDILY!!

I hope to improve my communication skills (starting using intrnt 2 wks ago).

I also hope to share many more laughs ...

I submit this verse because I love Sarah.
"God has brought laughter for me; everyone who hears will laugh with me." Genesis 21:5

Your humble brother -Mike-

You are two kind, Mike T! I hope I don't dissapoint your expectations!

My motto for years was
Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine...

my sister's is:
"Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
today is a gift,
that's why they call it "the present!"

Hi Mike. Not much of an 'old church' story here except this (para)phrase, "GET YE AWAY FROM US SATAN. YOU ARE A DEVIL WORSHIPPER. HIS DEMONS RULE YOUR SOUL. "

I hope you caught that  ;). It's not so funny when you're the demon though  :'(  ;D

Welcome Aboard Mike T,

Glad you joined us and it was GOD'S WILL that you left Babylon(Christendom), a passage of Scripture entered my mind while drinking my first cup of coffee this Morning(I work the 4-12 shift); " I have given your word to them, but the World has hated them, because they are no part of the World, just as I am no part of the World. " John. 17:14. " Santify them by means of the truth,; your word is truth. " Verse 17. Also, 1Corinthians. 1:27-29 " but God chose the foolish things of the World, that he might put the wise men to shame and God chose the weak things of the World, that he might put the strong things to shame. And God chose the ignoble things of the World AND THE THINGS LOOKED DOWN UPON, the things that are not, that he might bring to nothing the things that are, in order that no flesh might boast in the sight of God. "

I thought of these Scriptures, while viewing this Thread. That letter you received telling you your not allowed and welcomed, you should write back and tell them; " Thankyou Kindly for encouraging me not to attend Babylonian Services ";  ;D ;D ;D; only kidding Mike T, Jesus said, If they persecuted and hated me, they will do the same to you.

Glad to have you with us Mike T, enjoy the fellowship and stimulating conversations that regularly take place.

                                                   Kind Regards, Samson.
