Re: World Religions

Matt 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed ADULTERY with her already in his heart.
Does anybody out there honestly think this is talking about a "physical" woman?

Gal 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump
Mat 16:12 Then understood they how that he bade [them] not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees

i do
for there lay the spiritual meaning of the commandment.
sin begins in the heart.
subject matter applies here.

In college I took a world religions class and instantly "quit" being a Christian. Dang, I was a big-shot freshman who knew everything about anything. Well, as life goes on, you start to learn a little about life. After some travel over seas, marriage, kids, etc, Christianity really made the most sense.
My son just got back from 3 years overseas. Estonia, Pakistan, Uganda mostly-with vacation time in Egypt and India. I don't really think these religions are what we read about. You have to be there, see it, smell it, taste it....Please don't insult any of us by saying we are very similar. Many lies come with small pieces of truth.

Rom 7:1 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
Rom 7:2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
Rom 7:3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
This does apply to us as being follwers of Christ.
John 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
