Everyone is at home and doing well. This is all so wonderful. First gradbaby on both sides... oh my is she going to be spoiled or what. But what else are grandparents for

Thanks everybody. It is surreal, hard to believe I finally got a grandbaby.

Dave, I was thinking I like just plain ole Grandmaw, but Grammy is nice too. But I hear it will be whatever she comes up with or can say at first.

I'm certainly old enough to be a grandma and most my friends are but I started late on babies and still have desires for more babies of my own.  We are keeping a baby so I get my baby fix daily.

Congrats Kat--my mom is Meemaw to my niece and nephew--daddy is Pawpaw.  Never thought they'd go for that but it stuck since the kids came up with it.  Like you say--it will be whatever they say first.

Thanks everybody. I will have more pics after I go back to visit in a week. They live about 3 hrs from us, so I don't get to see them near enough  

Onelovedread you know how to make a gal feel good   I am rather proud that I just turned 54, as I've got a lot of experience under my belt now. I have even let my hair return to it's natural state in anticipation of being a grandmaw. That's kind of funny, because I have had a few people not recognize me with my gray locks
