Pray for my daughter

[buddyjc]

Hi Everyone,

I just got word from my wife who took my daughter to the doctor to have her blood sugar tested.  The meter would not register, because her level was so high.  They just said it was over 600.  My wife is now taking her to her pediatrician.  Please be in prayer for Anna, she is only 5 yrs old, and I do not think she fully understands what is going on.

They did not say she is diabetic, but she has been drinking over a half a gallon of milk per day.  Always being thirsty is a sign of diabetes.

Your Brother in Christ,
Brian

Brian,

Your family will be in my prayers. Brother, it is far more difficult to see our children and loved ones go through these things than to experience them ourselves, kids are very resiliant though.

You may be aware that Craig is going through this exact same thing with his (edited) son.

His Peace to you and yours,

Joe

Craig,

My apology to your son, he would likely want to give me a boot for that slip,

Joe

Indeed I will pray....5 years old is so young.....WE know everything is God's will but I want to pray for a miracle...God Bless you during this time.

[Sorin]

I will pray for your daughter too. This must be such a hard thing to go through.

Thank you everyone.  Anna has an appointment first thing in the morning with an Endocrinologist.  We'll have to wait and see how it goes.

I'm praying for your daughter Brian.

Hey Bobby,

Here I am still waiting for word about Anna.  She is still with the Endocrinologist.  I will certainly keep you all informed.

Sorry I was trying to fix the recipe and posted it by mistake.  I have searched the web for all kinds of diabetic brownies. This one looked good.
                                                           I hope Anna likes them

Thank you Beloved, and Katy thanks you for the brownie recipe.

Love to Ya,
Brian

[buddyjc]

Thank you for thinking of us.  We finally got her sugar levels down, and she's back to her normal self.  I gave her a shot last night for the first time.  She doesn't even flinch.  What a trooper she is.  I was talking to Vicky about the extra cost for special foods, and she said, 'God will provide.  It's not like we're asking for a boat.'  I had to laugh, but then I realized that she was exhibiting a faith that I was not showing at that time.  God sure knows how to teach.

Love to All and Thanks,
Brian

[buddyjc]

Thank you Bobby.  You always know what to say.

Anna's blood sugar was down to 192 today.  She was so happy because she was going to a pool party, and of course, because she didn't have to have a shot.  Thanx to all.

Brian
