I would think that, by now, we all know about those 12 children and their coach trapped in a flooded cave with time running out. And there's one brave soul who gave his life attempting to help. While I realize there is an unfathomable number of people and situations throughout the world in need of prayer, and I do pray for them, they could not possibly be addressed on this site, nor perhaps should they be as this prayer request forum is of a more personal nature. Nevertheless, for some reason, I can't help but find a deep Scriptural analogy which compelled me to write this request:

Pray for those children and their coach in Thailand, for their families, and the family of the man who laid down his life for others.

Thanks, Mike.  Just so you know, I also sense this "analogy" and am trying to keep up.
Heb 10:32  But you must continue to remember those earlier days, how after you were enlightened you endured a hard and painful struggle.

There is one and only one prayer that is ever answered.

The Father's will be done.

Thanks Dave. I appreciate the confirmation.

And yes, John. While I'm compelled to pray for these children, it includes, as always, "Nevertheless, Your will be done."

Yea, but sometimes God's will scares me. 4 out and 8+1 to go as I type.

I was wondering why it's taking so long to get them out of there but I just heard it's a six hour trip out!

Wanda

Amen! God's will is being done. They've been able to shave 2 hours off of their previous rescue time.
I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life.

Amen , Thanks be to Our Father

And ditto , Dennis
" No man can come to me,except the Father draw him"

Mike, it may take some time to "process" the analogy (especially since the full outcome is yet unknown, and the world's attention will shift) but I want you to know I'm interested in your "take" on this thing if and when you are prepared to share.

Not since Apollo 13 has the world prayed as one for the safety fellow human beings, IMO.

Dave,

I'll certainly do that when the time comes.
