Hi rj,

Your eyes are fine, it was just put up today

I just hope I can be of some help to the other moderators, as they have jobs, and I don't.
It is my desire to help keep this a place we can come and enjoy the fruit of the spirit,
as we share and learn.
I came here after reading and embracing the teachings at bible-truths, that is what we all share here, the Truth.

These are the forum rules, I think it is a good time to bring them forward.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This forum is primarily a place for people of a like mind to fellowship, and secondarily to discuss and question what they learn on bible-truths.com.

If you seriously disagree with Ray, please email him directly.

If you come here to teach us, please take your teaching elsewhere.

THIS FORUM IS NOT TO BE USED TO DEBATE RELIGIOUS TOPICS

Please do not make sport of persons who email Ray. Leave any criticism of the individual to Ray.

No preaching (including preaching via links). No name-calling.

This forum is moderated, if you feel you cannot accept the bounds of a limited forum then don't join.  The moderators do not have the time to explain every decision to you on why a post was deleted, so don't expect it.

The moderators will generally try to remove posts before banning a member, don't take it personally.  If you see your posts being removed then perhaps you should review what you are writing to make sure is goes along with the forum rules.  If you are asked to let a subject drop, or a particular subject is off limits then please abide by what the moderators ask.  Don't necessarily expect a reason for the request, many things go on behind the scenes of the forum and the moderators are doing what they feel is best.

If you have a problem with a moderator, the way the forum is managed, or another user of the forum then address this through private mails.  Publicly airing your grievances will be grounds for banishment.

Learn to use the private mail function.  If you don't know how then ask.

If you have not logged into your account for over 4 months then you account may be deleted, so make sure you log in from time to time.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello Kat and congrats for your new moderator status.  Your posts are always heartful and scriptural and I learn alot from you.  (Just curious, how does one become a moderator?  Again, this is my first 'forum' and I wasn't sure how it worked??

[Kat]

Anne, iris and Susan,

Thank you all for showing your support
It is my pleasure to help out the moderators.
I hope I can show the same wisdom and kindness I have seen in them.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

mercy, peace, and love
Kat

p.s. Susan, I guess if you know a moderator it helps
I met Joe at the conference and I see Dennis at the biblestudies.

[gmik]

I am glad I came to this thread cuz I never look at any of that and wouldn't have known.

Congrats, Kat. You are a natural!  You go the extra mile for us so many times.

I think this is wonderful.  (and we need some estrogen- moderating sometimes!)

love,
gena

I really appreciate all that you do here Kat.

Thank you for accepting the position of moderator.

[Dennis Vogel]

We appreciate Kat's work here. If you look at the stats, so far this month we're close to or past other months number of new posts, and the month is only half over.

Dennis

Dennis,

That's pretty amazing.  I keep forgetting about the stat page sometimes.  And we are continously growing.  I always keep an eye out for the new members.  Truly God has blessed us and will continue to do so.  I look forward to what the rest of the month or for that matter the rest of year bring for this forum.

  Sincerely,

  Anne C. McGuire
