My wife

[bluzman]

Although we had been separated for more than twenty years, my wife and I grew to love each other more every day.
She died on Monday morning on the operating table during emergency surgery. We never had a chance to hold each other.
I can hardly think or type this message. My heart is broken and in shreds. Chester

[Linny]

My prayers go out to you for your incredible loss. I pray God's peace will completely cover you. I am so sorry.

Dear Brother Chester,

My deepest sympathy and empathy for you.

Remember one Day (soon in God's time) you will be able to hold her and share the wonders of God's new creation with her and all your loved ones (who will be as numberless as the stars in the sky) endlessly.

Thank God you and your wife made peace and continued to grow together, because as bad as it is now it would be an even more intensely bitter experience had you and her not been speaking with each other or been angry with one another or if you had not let her know your love for her before this chapter came to a close.

I know this from personal experience.

This present separation is only an intermission not the end of the final act...

His Peace to you,

Joe

P.S. Mat 5:4  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Hi Geoff,

Your post brought this verse to mind...

John 11:33  When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,

Check out John 11:31-45

What a glorious promise! Such incomprehensible compassion from the Creator of all...

Peace,

Joe

Dear brother Chester, I'm very sorry for your loss, grieving with you and praying for you. The Lord will help pull you through this tough time. I sincerely hope these Scriptures will help lighten your load.

Mat 11:28  "Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29  All of you, take up My yoke and learn from Me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for yourselves.
Mat 11:30  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

We are all here for you bro.

Hope, Faith & Love, through Jesus.
