What shall I call this?
Marky Mark:
The sum of Gods Word is the answer that all of His Faithful servants follow and abide in... always. :)
2Co 4:1 We don't become discouraged, since God has given us this ministry through his mercy.
2Co 4:2 Instead, we have refused to use secret and shameful ways. We don't use tricks, and we don't distort God's word. As God watches, we clearly reveal the truth to everyone. This is our letter of recommendation.
2Co 4:3 So if the Good News that we tell others is covered with a veil, it is hidden from those who are dying.
2Co 4:4 The god of this world has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. As a result, they don't see the light of the Good News about Christ's glory. It is Christ who is God's image.
2Co 4:5 Our message is not about ourselves. It is about Jesus Christ as the Lord. We are your servants for his sake.
2Co 4:6 We are his servants because the same God who said that light should shine out of darkness has given us light. For that reason we bring to light the knowledge about God's glory which shines from Christ's face.
2Co 4:7 Our bodies are made of clay, yet we have the treasure of the Good News in them. This shows that the superior power of this treasure belongs to God and doesn't come from us.
2Co 4:8 In every way we're troubled, but we aren't crushed by our troubles. We're frustrated, but we don't give up.
2Co 4:9 We're persecuted, but we're not abandoned. We're captured, but we're not killed.
2Co 4:10 We always carry around the death of Jesus in our bodies so that the life of Jesus is also shown in our bodies.
2Co 4:11 While we are alive, we are constantly handed over to death for Jesus' sake so that the life of Jesus is also shown in our mortal nature.
2Co 4:12 Death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
2Co 4:13 The following is written, "I believed; therefore, I spoke." We have that same spirit of faith. We also believe; therefore, we also speak.
2Co 4:14 We know that the one who brought the Lord Jesus back to life will also bring us back to life through Jesus. He will present us to God together with you.
2Co 4:15 All this is for your sake so that, as God's kindness overflows in the lives of many people, it will produce even more thanksgiving to the glory of God.
2Co 4:16 That is why we are not discouraged. Though outwardly we are wearing out, inwardly we are renewed day by day.
2Co 4:17 Our suffering is light and temporary and is producing for us an eternal glory that is greater than anything we can imagine.
2Co 4:18 We don't look for things that can be seen but for things that can't be seen. Things that can be seen are only temporary. But things that can't be seen last forever.
Peace...Mark

Hi B.B.W
--- Quote ---I have read most all of your posts. Some of them were pretty good and made a lot of sense; but I have to tell you this one makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
--- End quote ---
The Lord Himself is leading us ALL to those experiences that make sense to us or not. HE is the author of our circumstances, finisher of our faith by ways and means that may or may not appear to be reasonable or sensible.
--- Quote ---You put in numerous scriptures to prove your point.
--- End quote ---
I declare the Scriptures that come to mind in harmony with what I see and feel and express. It is like the movement in a dance. Here’s an example of what I do to include a note within the Grand symphony of His Spirit…
Eph 5:19 speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
See?.... the breath and dance of God’s delightful Words of Spirit and of Truth. You see? Yes? No? Not as line upon line to make anyone stumble or fall or to punch anyone to fall backwards as they do in Babylon, no, but as in that fearless liberty expressed in the Scriptures presented by Marks. What a joy and appreciation of encouragement! Thank you Marques. :)
So tell me B.B.W, at what exact point did you observe that I was not making any sense. Where exactly did you lose me or am I too far gone for you to respond? :D
Hi Roy
I believe what you say about the recurrence in your memory of your experience 30 years ago that was jarred into your re-call by my post of my trial! What a beautiful fruit of His Spirit made manifest. I really enjoyed your comment, “he had that look”….and you said NO….I was to learn to do the same also from my experience. Don’t give approval and don’t make temptations easy to fall into for others. I now state the money offered in payment, the cost and the change before I open the till!....for those who may not have “that look” but are driving that truck passing through.
There in God sends us out Mat 10:16 Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be as wise as serpents and as harmless as doves.
--- Quote ---God doesn't give us testimonies to go to the way side.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, Now has come the salvation and power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers is cast down, who accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.
Greetings John
--- Quote --- I may have done the John Wayne thing and taken the lowlife by the collar and the seat of his pants and thrown the bum in the streets.
--- End quote ---
The Power of God as Witness, Advocate and Judge in a John Wayne action that leaves a person standing, helpless, alone and defenseless before The Supreme and Highest Authority of God, as his demons hightail it out the door leaving him in the dust of their departure as Roy has experienced. What a sight for spiritual eyes! What a joy. I can relate to the excitement the Disciples experienced and the rebuke from the Lord that they should NOT be happy with their power or the results thereof as Luk 10:20 Yet do not rejoice in this, that the evil spirits are subject to you, rather rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.
Yes John, the Scriptures are not literal and turning the other check for me, does not mean being a door mat, currying favor or any type of hypocrisy. Jesus was not a hypocrite but I feel absolutely certain that He might have gazed deeply into the soul and condition of the heart of the man. Jesus was never a victim EVER of anyone or anything. HE had the power to lay down His life and no one took it from Him. It is just so extraordinary what He makes us go through to form us into His Image and to know the difference between evil and good. Just when I think I have seen enough, when I am quite happy to stop at knowing evil or the difference between sugar and salt, then the Lord shows me rest and fatigue, sorrow and happiness, the beam and the mote and oh so many more dimensions and worlds of suffocating repugnant evil, horror, pain, grief and despair, weakness and then, then He shows me joy and love and kindness and these fruits of His Spirit take on deeper texture, color and meaning and better and better and better we go. :)
What I have learned from the experience is to be okay with how I respond, knowing and trusting as you point out, that God knows how my reaction will appear even if I don’t. I believe I would do the same again with less distress and more deliberation rather than re-action, next time. God knows what He is doing. :)
God doesn’t condemn me. God causes all the drama and creates all the circumstances. His beautiful harmonies that are enjoyed in the Forum often continue in the symphony of God’s orchestrations also in the back stage of the Forum in the PM lines. I don’t want anyone to think that I have ignored either DougE6 and G.Driggs because you see no acknowledgement of them in this Thread.
