Since I learned that the Psalms are songs , I was inspired to study about 🎶 music.
I’d like to share some of what I learned.
I came across an article that the word of the day is cacophony. I recognized
that word from studying words that define poems, music and other writings.

Cacophony…… noise, roar, rattle, chatter, commotion, clatter, din, clamour.
A mishmash of unpleasant sounds often at loud volume.
It’s what you’d hear if you gave instruments to a bunch of four year olds and
asked them to play one of Beethoven’s  symphonies.

A cacophony is a jarring discordant mix of sounds that have no business being
played together, When the orchestra tunes up before a show, it sounds like a cacophony because each musician is playing a completely different tune, at
different times and at different volumes. Once the show begins, that cacophony
had better turn into a melody or the audience will want their money back.
The melody is the most important part of a song.

Of course the antonym to cacophony is silence, stillness, lull, calm, tranquility.

Our composer has composed a new song , music to our ears, the sound of silence.
[Spirit]
Psalm 57:7… My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast, I will sing and make melody.
Psalm 33:3…. Sing to Him a New Song; play skillfuly on the strings, with loud shouts.

Love Pamela, still learning to sing :D.

That's such good news, Wendy, I'm happy for you all. Enjoy that precious grand baby.

My daughter Flora is also pregnant, but a recent checkup revealed there may be some serious complications coming up during childbirth. The umbilical cord is not where it's supposed to be in relation to the placenta. I hope you don't mind if I piggyback off your post, Wendy, but if you could remember her and the baby in your prayers, that would be wonderful.

Thank you for your encouragement Maddie, I appreciate it very much.

The gout is horrible and I am a big baby when I have pain.
It’s somewhat better today . I have to stay off of it as much as possible.
I also had vertigo and had to stay in bed  for 13 hours . I broke out in a rash
causing itching all over, got constipated from the pain meds and my eyes
constantly feel like they have sticks in them.
It’s a whirlwind of one thing after another. Thank God for my husband.
He’s caring for me but he can’t cook except for opening cans , 😂.
My wonderful neighbour brought me some food yesterday. Thank God
for my neighbours also. I’m am thankful for everything especially for the
Will of God in my life, and for my BT family. God Bless you all with His love.

In Christ , Pamela

First let me say, I'm sorry about the gout Pamela. I have such a low tolerance for pain that I typically even feel others' pain learning, hearing or seeing it. It's bad some days morethan others.

Secondly, you are God's vessel for that message. I've come to realise that just as I was, there are many who come to the forum to receive what God knows they need to keep going, even if they don't comment or log in.
Keep writing what God places in your heart. We are here and we are being encouraged and comforted by His word through the foolishness of preaching' in a way that only those who profess that Jesus is Lord and have His spirit can be. Thanking you sincerely and truly.
May you get better soon.
